EDP HEalthcare WORKGROUP

 Healthcare is a Human Right.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) made history by expanding health insurance to millions of Californians for the first time.  It is not perfect and needs improvement.

Even with the ACA, 3,000,000 California residents are still uninsured and many with insurance face high drug costs, co-pays, deductibles and premiums - putting healthcare out of reach.

We need to work for improvement at the Local, State and Federal Level.

The HealthCare Workgroup is your local resource to do that

We began meeting in March  2017
and continue to meet monthly to plan our work.

Updated: June 2019
